These terms cover your use of Masterproof (“the Service”), a browser-based audio verification tool operated by Charlie Crown. By using the Service you agree to them.

What the Service is

Masterproof analyzes an audio master in your browser and reports on technical readiness for distribution — loudness, true peak, format, mono compatibility, and related checks — with plain-English guidance. It runs entirely on your device; see our Privacy Policy.

Guidance, not a guarantee

Masterproof gives you accurate measurements and experienced-engineer guidance to help you catch problems before you release. It is a tool, not a mastering service or professional advice, and it does not guarantee how any streaming platform, distributor, or listener will treat your release. Final decisions about your music are yours.

Accounts

You sign in with your email via a one-time login code. Keep access to your email secure — anyone with it can access your account. You're responsible for activity under your account.

Plans & payment

• Free — one check per calendar month, email required.
• Credits — a one-time pack of checks that never expire.
• Unlimited — a monthly or annual subscription.

Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe. Billing and cancellation are covered in our Refund Policy.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: no attempting to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it, no automated abuse of the free tier, and no using it to violate anyone's rights. You keep all rights to the music you analyze — we never claim any interest in it.

Availability & disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is.” We work hard on accuracy (our loudness and true-peak measurements are validated against reference meters), but we don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the current terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
